Amalfi Adventures

After lugging our luggage through the large crowds of tourists around Florence for half an hour, we finally got to the Santa Maria Novella train station to board our train to Napoli! The train station was bustling with people running here and there, overhead speakers letting you know of the impending doom of your train delay (foreshadowing), and beggars trying to squeeze any last change out of you. But we were all in high spirits, excited to get to the breathtaking Amalfi coast! Until the ominous overhead speaker came back on and… oh no our train was mentioned... dun dun dun - our train was delayed by 40 minutes *sighs*. But once we finally got on the train, it was smooth sailing from there! When we got to Naples, we walked around town for another 15 minutes looking for our golden ticket to Sorrento: our bus. The bus ride was an hour long of scary twists and turns along the coast that also included the stunning twinkly lights from all the towns below. Once in Sorrento, we walked another 20 minutes to get to our hotel, but the town was still lively and beautiful, so it was hard to complain. It’s been a long day but we’re all so excited to finally be on the Amalfi coast and experience this new adventure together!
