Boats, boats, boats, boats, boats!

You’ve got a bucket list, I’ve got a bucket list, we’ve all got bucket lists. Monte Carlo, Monaco was definitely at the top of all seven of ours! We were all giddy when our schedules opened for the opportunity to visit, and boy oh boy it did not disappoint. Despite the proximity to water, the city readily greeted us with hot hands that enveloped us immediately. It was a sunnies on and hair up kind of day. Being the eager beavers that we were, we hit the streets with our French Riviera style and strutted our stuff in the wealthiest city that we ever had the chance to step foot in. Between the abundance of luxury yachts and fancy Ferraris, our eyes were constantly being drawn to each new shiny object of wealth.

We stuck primarily to the docks and the streets because we didn’t dare step foot in a store downtown since we could barely afford to breathe, let alone actually buy anything. We did, however, take a short hike up to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco where we pretended to be princesses with butlers (why thank you dear Henry) and maids while we took in the view from the overlook. The day ended with a light takeout dinner on the beaches of Nice, France with the gal pals, while we feasted our eyes on the beautiful painted skies of the sunset.
