This week has been a roller coaster of emotions filled with research highs and lows, so a weekend gateway is what all of us needed. Seven of us decided to spend our free
time in Nice, France. After we stepped off the bus at 5:10 this morning, we immediately felt a sense of relief. The sweet ocean breeze, the green palm trees, and the beautiful French sunrise made us forget the stressful past week. Once settled in at our hostel, we headed straight to the beach for a relaxing day laying out in the sun. The rocky shores, pale blue sea, and light blue skies made us feel like we were in a dream! We spent the day soaking up some rays, listening to the crashing sounds of the waves, and enjoying the company of the those around us! We are well rested, sun kissed and ready for the rest of our weekend in Nice exploring the French Riviera, experiencing the French culture, and making life long memories with life long friends!
